About DeltaMetrics

DeltaMetrics is a national research, evaluation, and consulting organization dedicated to the improvement of substance abuse and other behavioral health care treatment.  Applying its substantial experience in measurement and treatment outcomes, DeltaMetrics works with payers and providers of behavioral health care treatment to evaluate the performance of their systems of care and to increase their effectiveness.

DeltaMetrics was founded by two scientists distinguished for their contributions to the field of behavioral health care treatment.  Jack Durell, M.D., President and CEO, is a psychiatrist who has spent much of his thirty-five year career creating and managing clinical and research programs in the public and private sectors.  A. Thomas McLellan, Ph.D., nationally and internationally acclaimed for his more than twenty-five years of work in the substance abuse field, is a Scientific Consultant to the company.  Dr. McLellan led the development of the Addiction Severity Index and the Treatment Services Review, two of the most widely used instruments in the field of substance abuse treatment.

DeltaMetrics is federally classified as a small business.  Its principal operating offices are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where a staff of twelve doctoral and masters level scientists are employed.  The organization also employs a sizeable staff of information management specialists and research technicians.  Satellite offices are located in McLean, Virginia, where the company was incorporated, and Albany, New York.
